ABSTRACT
“A Story Made of Broken Glass” is a health narrative that proffers a comprehensive exploration of ADHD, a neurobehavioral disorder prevalent in millions of children today. It combines storytelling and clinical research to chronicle the lives of two sisters: one who tries to navigate her disorder, and the narrator (myself) who tries to resolve the distance spreading between them. In addition to storytelling, the narrative includes clinical research such as the specific subtypes of ADHD, types of treatments, risk factors, and the various symptoms associated with the disorder. This narrative strives to accurately characterize the symptoms and treatment of ADHD for an adolescent through storytelling and vivid imagery.
